Santorini Proposal Design & Styling

The heart of every proposal we create. Florals, candles, signage and lighting — designed around your story and the Santorini setting, set up and removed by our team.

Proposal design and styling is the visual half of the moment: florals, candlelight, marquee letters, aisle and table styling, composed for the exact terrace and the exact hour of light. We design it remotely with you, build it while you’re out, and remove it invisibly afterwards.

What it is

Design that turns a view into a moment

A breathtaking view is the start; styling is what makes it feel like yours. We compose each setting like a small set design — colour, texture, light and personal detail — so that when your partner sees it, they know instantly that this was made for them.

Everything is bespoke. We start from your story and your palette, then source, build, deliver and remove every element ourselves. You arrive to a finished scene and leave with the photographs. For a striking silk-gown shoot, see the flying dress proposal.

What we create

Elements we design

Florals

From a single statement arrangement to arches and flower walls, in seasonal Greek blooms.

Candles & lighting

Lanterns, pillar candles, fairy lights and pathways that glow as the light drops.

Signage & letters

"Marry Me", "Will You Marry Me?", initials or a custom message in your style.

Soft furnishings

Rugs, cushions, low tables and seating for an intimate, grounded setting.

Personal touches

Photos, a framed memory, a favourite song, a meaningful object — the details that mean everything.

Colour & theme

A palette built around your taste — from crisp Cycladic white-and-gold to bold romantic blooms.

How it works

From idea to installed

  • Step 1

    Consultation

We learn your story, taste and budget, and propose a concept and palette.

  • Step 2

    Design & sourcing

We finalise florals, props and lighting, and prepare everything in advance.

  • Step 3

    On-site setup

Our team installs discreetly while your partner is elsewhere.

  • Step 4

    Reset & removal

After the moment, we quietly pack everything away. You keep only the memories.

Good to know

Design & styling — questions

The visual scene end to end: florals, candles and lanterns, the aisle or table, marquee letters or a marry-me sign, and the placement of it all for the exact terrace and hour of light. Delivery, build and invisible removal are part of the service.

Yes — you approve a concept with references and a layout before we buy a single stem. Changes are easy on paper and impossible at sunset, so we lock the look together in advance; on the day you only see the finished scene.

We translate it. Boards tell us your taste — palette, mood, density — and we rebuild that taste for a Santorini terrace, its wind and its light, with flowers that actually exist on the island that week. The result reads like your board, engineered for the cliff.

Roses, orchids and hardy seasonal stems that hold their shape in heat and breeze; delicate garden flowers wilt fast in July. We buy to the week’s weather, and every arrangement is built with the meltemi in mind — beauty that survives the location is the brief.

You keep the flowers — most couples take a few stems and we arrange the rest. Letters, lanterns and furniture are collected quietly while you are at dinner, and the terrace goes back to normal as if nothing happened; only the photographs disagree.
