Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern our services and your booking.

Last updated: 9 June 2026.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to enquiries and bookings made with Proposal Santorini ("we", "us") for proposal planning, design and related services in Santorini, Greece.

2. Bookings & deposits

A booking is confirmed once we agree the concept in writing and you pay the deposit. A deposit of 30% of the agreed price secures your date and our team's time; the remaining balance is due 14 days before the event. For bookings made fewer than 14 days in advance, full payment is due on confirmation.

3. Pricing

Quotes are provided individually and are valid for 30 days. Prices may vary with location, styling, add-ons and third-party suppliers. We do not add hidden fees.

4. Changes, cancellations & refunds

Please tell us in writing as early as possible if you need to amend or cancel. The deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your date and our preparation. For client cancellations more than 30 days before the event, any amount paid above the deposit is refunded in full; within 30 days, the balance may be non-refundable where costs and supplier commitments have already been incurred. We always try to reschedule for genuine emergencies. If we ever cancel for a reason within our control, you receive a full refund.

5. Weather

Outdoor proposals depend on conditions. Every booking includes an agreed backup plan (alternative location or time). If conditions prevent both the planned setup and the agreed backup, we will reschedule to the nearest workable date or time; where rescheduling is genuinely impossible, we refund the recoverable portion of your payment, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already committed on your behalf.

6. Third-party suppliers

We coordinate trusted suppliers (photographers, venues, transport, musicians). Their own terms may apply, and we are not liable for their independent acts beyond reasonable coordination.

7. Photography & media

You own the right to your personal images. We may ask separately for permission to feature images in our portfolio; we will never use your images without consent.

8. Liability

We carry professional liability insurance. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the services booked, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and disputes are subject to the competent Greek courts.
